2014-07-07 Trois-Riveires Marina to Marina Port de Quebec

More beautiful church spires along the way...

St. Lawrence commercial traffic...

We had to cruise through the tricky Richelieu Rapids.  You will notice many exposed rocks, currents are tricky, some places rather narrow (to avoid the rocks).  But Captain Ron handled the steering expertly!

A Great Lake freighter!  I'll just bet it has travelled on the St. Clair River too!

Ahoy!  Quebec on the horizon!  One of the most photographed hotels in the world, if not THE most, in the old city:  The Chateau Frontenac!

We "marina'd" for the night at the Marina Port de Quebec - right downtown.  We had to go through another lock which is contiguous to the Marina - this was our nighttime view right outside our Spirit Journey back door.

Daytime city view from the marina...
Marina views...

From a pedestrian bridge...looking at some of the 'workings' of the lock we went through prior to entering the marina.

A sailboat docked nearby - they were provisioning in order to cross the Atlantic.
