September 30 2013 St Michaels to Wye River East Anchorage

At anchorage off St. Michael's, we were pleased to meet sailors, Jack and Jocelyn, from Annapolis, who kindly asked us aboard to tell us about other anchorages on the Chesapeake.  One of which was the Wye River.  So after leaving our anchorage in St. Michael's we headed up to the Wye. 






We found a wonderful anchorage off the Wye East River, and then took a dinghy ride around the island.  Here are some scenes along the river:
