Oxford to St Michaels, MD Anchorage on Leeds Creek 092713

Enjoyed a dinner on the waterfront in Oxford before leaving town.  Sunsets were spectacular and we bicycled back to the boat - about 1.5 miles to burn off some of the crab-induced calories!

Ah yes...the beautiful sunsets...

Ron's 'soft crab' dinner...

Leaving the marina in Oxford the next morning...on our way to St. Michael's.

Can you say 'sailboats on the Chesapeake'?

This was the restaurant where we had dinner last night...

Beautiful homes...after leaving the marina, we travelled up the Tred Avon River to just explore as we had been told it was very pretty.

We *think* this is a single family home...

Back on the 'Chesapeake'

Some homes near our anchorage - we are anchored across the river from St. Michael's.

Anchorage in a cove off of Leeds' Creek.

The little cove...

  1. Hi Ronald! These photographs are fantastic! Looks like an incredible journey. In fact, I'm wondering if I can use one of them on a website for one of my clients (with your permission, of course). If you wouldn't mind, could you email me at bgaverette AT gmail.com to work something out? Thank you!
