On July16 we departed Beaufort, NC and headed out the inlet into the Atlantic to transit to Lookout Lighthouse! Many of our friends and fellow cruisers suggested that we really needed to make a trip out to this unique landmark and history center.

The lighthouse's diamonds' design represent different directions (I believe the black were 'north/south' and the white were 'east/west')
